Only in LA ?

What do you do in the car? I've seen people brushing their hair, shaving, putting on makeup, playing the drums on the steering wheel (with actual drumsticks and he was GREAT), singing, brushing their teeth and the list goes on.

This morning, I saw a guy singing his heart out....while playing a small sized guitar.

um....

What the HELL ???!

I'm speechless. Truly.

A friend of mine wants to write a book of the dumb things men say to women/their girlfriends. For instance, I believe a guy she was dating once told my friend, "You'd be so beautiful if you got a nose job and a boob job." Geeeee, thanks!

What movie??

Okay, yeah, I know...it's been a while and there's lots to catch up on, but first this....

Linda and I went to see the Spiderwick Chronicles, I loved it and highly recommend it, although it's a little scary. While we were in line buying tickets this is the conversation we overheard:

Lady: [loudly] Two senior tickets to SPYonicle.
Ticket boy: [ . . . ]
Lady: SPYonicle
Ticket boy: [looking over his shoulder at the movie board] Um....
Lady: You know, that movie SPYonicle...you know that new one.

Me to Linda: Do you suppose she means Spiderwick?
Linda to Lady: Um, I think you mean S P I D E R W I C K

It's finally Christmas

I have a tree, it's officially Christmas at my house (it's not decorated yet, but it soon will be!).

Getting this tree was not an easy task. Read this for the story, then see the pictures below.

In order for the tree not to spill into the middle of the living room it is squished into the wall.



And the best part? Making it look somewhat straight. We've got 7 magazines, 2 videos, a folded piece of paper and a CD.
